Back open for business
Wiltshire Rural Music is open again for groups, lessons and rehearsals! Over the past few months Sue has been working tirelessly to ensure the Trowbridge hub is Covid-safe.
We have perspex screens, safe distance markers, a guided one-way system, boxes for personal belongings and hand sanitiser upon arrival and at various locations around the building. There are also anti-bacterial wipes to clean the Yamaha baby grand piano after use.

Theresa brought the first group in to use the main room this week:
“The guidelines that you gave me for our rehearsal at WRM worked well for us.
I arrived first to unlock, leaving all doors wedged open, as I made my way to the main rehearsal room. Everyone else arrived and didn’t need to touch the door handles after using the hand sanitiser.
We agreed between ourselves that we wouldn’t wear our masks, as 3 out of 4 of us wear glasses and steaming up is a real issue! The chairs (and boxes) were placed in just the correct position for eye contact with each other.
After our rehearsal, I wiped down the chairs and the piano keyboard, before locking up and wiping the door handles as I retreated.
Thank you for all your help, in making the rehearsal space a happy and safe place for us!”
