Wiltshire Rural Music (WRM) is a music charity that has been encouraging people in Wiltshire to discover, explore and engage with music-making for over 80 years. We are based at our creative hub in Trowbridge where we host a range of exciting musical activities suitable for all ages and abilities. We also support rural communities enabling them to make music together through our outreach programmes.
We are looking to recruit a Creative Director who will take on the key role of developing and delivering the WRM’s outreach projects across the county’s rural communities, alongside our core services at our hub. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and will bring a creative approach to widening access to music for all in Wiltshire. The applicant will have experience in arts management, creating inclusive projects and activities, and be able to communicate clearly. A skill to help increase our membership and experience in management of volunteers is also highly desirable.
The contract is based on a 16 hour week for 47 weeks which can be flexible and it is expected the contract will be renewed, subject to a satisfactory review at the end of the first year.
