Fundraiser Concert @ Emmanuel's Yard

Wiltshire Rural Music are proud to present a spectacular evening of music, all in aid of keeping our charity bringing music to those who need it most. The evening will consist of 4 performances from some of our most celebrated musicians who have been involved with the charity for many years.

Daisy Chapman 9.15pm
Award winning Trowbridge based pianist, singer and songwriter Daisy Chapman will take to the stage with her long standing musical partner Sue Lord on violin playing her self-penned songs of love, lust and love. With a voice that can melt the stoniest of hearts and songwriting to challenge the greatest of story-tellers, Daisy's music cuts deep, leaving you questioning history and appreciating harmony in its purest form. Daisy is more often touring around Europe, so it's a pleasure to have her on home soil for the evening - and in the grand finale, Daisy will be joined on stage by the Doves Peace Choir for a spectacular choral version of some of her most well-known songs.

Doves Peace Choir 8.45pm
Run by Clara Atkins, the Doves Peace Choir sing uplifting songs of peace, love and hope. Delving into traditional folk song in 4 or 5 part harmony, this talented vocal group warm hearts with their positive musical message of peace.

Ebonite Clarinet Group 8.00pm
An 8 strong clarinet orchestra of all sized clarinets with played by superb musicians, led by Claire King.  Ebonite will fill the rafters with chamber music and popular numbers in perfect harmony.

Trowbridge Youth Band 7.30pm
Trowbridge & District Youth Band (TDYB) is an organisation providing opportunities for young people in the Trowbridge, Wiltshire area to learn to play brass instruments together in a band. They will present a short set of music from players of all ages, opening the night in style!
