Clarinettist Charlotte Dunling is well know to Wiltshire Rural Music, having led the wonderful Chamber Winds group we have here each week. She developed an interest in community music during her Undergraduate Music Degree at Bath Spa University, with particular interest in music and young people.
Charlotte also took part in WRM's Music on the Move day, thrilling audiences in such places as Colerne, Castle Combe and Yatton Keynell, showing her incredible versatility as a live performer.
Emma is a clarinettist based in Cardiff where she is currently studying for her MMus in Performance at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Over the past five years Emma has thoroughly enjoyed exploring the diverse and extensive repertoire of the clarinet, and finds immense joy in communicating the stories and emotions which wind their way through the music she performs. She graduated in 2017 with the Solo Performance Award following her performance of Artie Shaw’s joyful Clarinet Concerto in the Bath Assembly Rooms. Her other recent performance highlights include Krommer’s Concerto for Two Clarinets with the university orchestra and the solo recital she gave as part of her final year at university. Now in the middle of her first year of postgraduate studies, Emma is looking forward to further developing her own musical voice and continuing to engage and inspire audiences from all backgrounds with her playing.
