The Fiery Dragon Company was formed in early 2018 to play the music of local composer Anne Gregson. Their main influences are from classical music and traditional music, particularly from the British Isles. They have played at Chippenham Folk Festival and Bradford Roots Festival. ‘The Rise and Fall of King Bladud’ - a song cycle for soprano, tenor and string quartet - was premièred in 2019 at the Bath Fringe Festival. Other works have been performed by the violinist Darragh Morgan, Plus Minus Ensemble and the Kreutzer String Quartet.
Performances usually have five musicians present but for Tune at Noon they will be playing as a trio with Anne Gregson, voice and English concertina, Helen Bousfield, flute and English concertina and Kerstin Petersson, violin.
